Swimming Lessons

Summer is here and with that comes swimming lessons. Demarie is becoming a pretty good little swimmer and Preslyn is learning how to kick and put her face in the water. I thought she might freak out during lessons, but she got right in the water and has done everything her teacher has asked her to do. Broyden loved the goggles!

Zions

At the beginning of June, we went on a family trip to St. George with the Harris family. We had a great time hiking in Zions, visiting the temple, playing at the park, swimming, and playing with cousins. One of the highlights was finding a Book of Mormon in Polish! These are the pictures on my phone so I will try to post more later!

Last Day of School!

I can't believe Demarie is all done with 1st grade! She is such a smart little girl! The night before, Demarie could not sleep because she did not want 1st grade to end! She has grown so much this year and has learned so much, especially in her writing. Her favorite thing to do is to write chapter books.  We celebrated the end of school/beginning of summer with a fun swim party at my friend, Missy's house. I'm excited for a fun summer! Hopefully by the time summer ends Demarie will be excited to be a 2nd grader!

Family Sleepovers

One of our favorite things to do is to have family sleepovers in the loft. For Father's Day, we watched a great movie about fathers, Despicable Me, and then had a family sleepover in the loft. Demarie and Preslyn loved their beds in the cottage:)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY AARON! WE LOVE YOU!!!

The Nightmares!

The Season started out cold, but it soon warmed up! Demarie's team was the "Nightmares!" She really improved a lot this year and is getting more and more aggressive! Way to go Demarie!

Family Pictures

in april, we went to Floyd Lamb Park to get our family pictures taken. the last time we took family pictures was at the Picture People when preslyn was a baby and it was an absolute nightmare! because of that experience, i was very stressed out about them, but when the day finally arrived everything went smoothly. all the kids were so good and did exactly what the photographer asked them to do. no tantrums... no tears... no wiggles... no frowns... and no waiting for two hours! we went with Erin Hatch Photography and she did a great job. you can visit her website at erinhatchphotography.com. here are the rest of the pictures that i didn't use to decorate my blog:)
